According to Florida Statute 627.0652, drivers who are 55 years old or older and have successfully finished an approved "motor vehicle accident prevention" course are eligible for reduced auto insurance premiums.
The only exceptions are if you have been:
Involved in an accident for which the insured is at fault
Convicted of or plead guilty or nolo contendere to a moving traffic violation.
However, it is highly advisable to consult with your insurance provider to confirm if they offer a discount and the specific amount of that discount.
